I have to admit, it was nice to look over my old blog-work, and see what other people had said about it.

WHAT ARE MY STRENGTHS IN BLOG-WORK?
After looking over m blogs, I have noticed that my work tends to be very detailed, which I think is good and helpful to the person who is reading my work. Also, I try to pick topics that are exciting to me, so that it comes easier to be more detailed.

WHAT SHOULD I IMPROVE UPON IN MY BLOG-WORK?
I think that my blogs are not very consistent, some days, I add more detail on the article rather than my reflection. Other days, I tell the reader more about how I thought the article was. I think that I should be more consistent, on how much I write, and what I write about. This would help the readers understand my writing better.

WHAT DO OTHER STUDENTS SAY I DO WELL, (IN BLOG-WORK)?
When I went over my fellow students responses to my blogs, I noticed that a lot of them say that I choose good topics and articles to write about. Also, they state that my work is detailed.

WHAT DO OTHER STUDENTS SAY THAT I NEED TO IMPROVE (IN BLOG-WORK)?
I need to add more details on my opinion and reflection, on the articles and things that I read, when writing a blog about that. I should give examples, so that the reader understands better. One person said that I write too much on my blogs, but I do not agree with that comment, because when I write, I keep writing until my point is across, and I have completed the assignment, and sometimes that means writing a lot.

WHAT WILL I WORK ON IN MY NEXT BLOG ASSIGNMENTS?
I write more about my opinions, and improvements that could be made, (when doing a weekly science article report). Also, I will have consistent work, with the things I write about, and how much I write.

When I was looking over some of my old blog-work I noticed that I didn’t finish some parts of my blog-works so I will just do it after this blog assignment.

My Strengths in Blog Work is…
When I looked over all my old blogs I realized that my blogs are sometimes very detailed (like hello there! said), also it may not be very detailed blog, but it is straight to the point.

What to do to improve on my blog-work is…
When I posted my blogs I noticed that I don’t spell check my words that much than I should be doing. Another thing that I should do when I post blogs is to write more of what I thought of the article then just blogging the info. Also be a little more detailed and find much better articles than what I find now.

What other students say about my blog-work is…
When I went over my blogs I noticed that I didn’t have a lot of comments but I understand that because when we first started to post blogs I really didn’t look for good articles. So I will have to look hard for my articles if I want more people to comment on my work.

What other students say I should improve on my blog-work is…
That I need to improve on my details and what I write down for my blogs because it would be much more interesting and a little less shorter if I would put the main idea and just list better information about the articles I read.

What to work on my next blog assignments is…
That I need to put more of my opinion and still have an equal amount of facts/information on my work as well by making more corrections on my blogs.

Reflection:
By: Chrissybrown08

Over all I think that I’ve done a good job, but there’s always room for improvement.

Some of my strengths are:
I’ve noticed that people have said that I choose good articles. I also I have interesting questions and comments on my articles and I use my opinion frequently. Lastly I use a lot of fats that help inform the reader and I use a lot of detail.

Some of my weaknesses are:
I have some weaknesses that I think with time can be corrected. I have a tendency to have spelling errors, which can be preventable if I take my time and look my work over. I also need to inquire more examples into my work to help the reader get a better picture of what I’m trying to explain.

What Students say I do well?
Like in my strengths I use my opinion which gives my (reports, essays; reflections and article commentary) a voice. I also am very enthusiastic with my writing techniques and words. I also provide a lot of information for my reader.

What Students say I need to improve on?
Well I definitely have to work on my spelling and examples because I think that both of these things are needed to make my work even better. Also what I didn’t add in my weaknesses is that I procrastinate with my due dates and when I should work on my assignments.

What I’m going to work on with my next blog assignment:
In my next blog assignment I will work on what my weaknesses are and also what the other students say I need to work on. I think that no matter how good a piece or writing is, there is always room for improvements.

WHAT I NEED TO IMPROVE.
I could improve by writing my blogs longer. Not just longer but i need to add more detail into them. I need to put more description of what I have read.

MY STRENGTHS.
Some of my strengths are getting right to the point in my blogs. I think this helps others read them because they do not get as bored reading them. They do not drag on because i think it is easier to read blogs if they are easier to read and they are not long.

WHAT OTHERS SAY I DO WELL IN.
Others say that i pick very interesting articles. They say that i choose articles that keep them entertained.

WHAT OTHERS SAY I COULD IMPROVE ON.
Others say that i could write in more detail and that i should write longer.

WHAT I'M GOING TO WORK ON IN MY NEXT BLOG.
I'm going to work on putting more into my blogs. I'm going to work on adding more description into them so that it has more facts than opinions.

Anonymous said...

I didn't get many comments, but from what I think and what the few other people's opinions are, I'd say I have some room for improvement.

WHAT DO I THINK MY STRENGTHS IN MY BLOG WORK?:
I think I have a pretty wide variety of topics in the articles I chose for the weekly science article reports and not stay on one topic.
I also think I'm good at keeping my comments on the long side. Earlier in the year, I wasn't so good at that, but I think I've gotten better.

WHAT SHOULD I IMPROVE UPON IN MY BLOG-WORK?:
What I should improve on is my commenting. My comments, I think, aren't very helpful, so I'll try to write more productive comments.
Sometimes I forget to do the comments, too, which isn't good. I do my reflection, and then I say I'll do my comments later, but never get around to it. I should do my comments right after I post my reflection.

WHAT DO OTHER STUDENTS SAY I DO WELL? and WHAT DO THEY SAY I NEED TO IMPROVE?:
Other students say that my articles are interesting, but I should include more detail. Those were earlier in the year, and as I've said, I think I've improved in that area. Although I could always add a little mor to my posts.
No one has commented on my recent work.

WHAT WILL I WORK ON IN MY NEXT BLOG ASSIGNMENTS?:
Keeping things longer, definitely. Although I think I've improved, detail always helps the reader understand the posts easier. I also think I should make my comments on other people's work better. I will try to make the advice, if any, better and more useful.

Adios!

Strengths in my blog work: I think that I write in deep thoughts and listen to other people’s comments to improve my work. Also, I believe that I explain my weekly articles in detail so other people can be as interested in the subject I wanted to write about as I am.

What I should work on: I think I need to read the articles I write about more thoroughly, slowly and more carefully so I get more information out of them. Also, I think that I should spend more time when picking an article I want to write about because when I pick something I am interested in, I’m more enthusiastic about it.

What do students say I do well? They tell me that I explain things very carefully and organize my paragraphs in a way that they can read them easier than others. Also, people say that I break the article down and explain it for them to understand. Lastly, they say that they like when I add what I would do to change the article to make it better in my own opinion.

What do other students say I should do to improve my work? Students say that I should give more factual information in my article and that not enough questions they ask are answered in my reflection.

What will I improve on in my next blog assignments: From reading the comments that people left me, I am going to try hard to get more information from the article and try to make the topic as clear as possible so people don’t have as many questions as they did with my previous reflections.

I have completed every assignment. I think that my strengths on the blog are answering each part of each assignment completely. Also, I give constructive criticism to other people. I think I should work on keeping my summaries briefer and leaving out extra details that don’t need to be added. Other students say I pick very interesting articles. Also, other students say I should make my summary shorter and my reflection shorter. They also say I should break my reflections into paragraphs. For the next assignments I plan to make my summaries shorter and briefer.

Anonymous said...

WHAT ARE MY STRENGTHS?
I think that I am good at making sure that the reader knows what I am talking about in my summary. I also think that I am pretty good at constructively criticizing other people’s work. One last thing is that I always type it on Microsoft word first so I usually don’t have any spelling errors.

WHAT DO I THINK I SHOULD WORK ON?
I think that I could add a little bit less in my summary but still make sure that I get my point across. I also need to work on not adding extra things just to get my point across and be done with it. One last thing is that I am making sure that when I am commenting on other’s work to be really truthful.

WHAT DO OTHER STUDENTS THINK I DO WELL?
People think that I do a good job explaining what I am talking about and reflecting on it.

WHAT DO OTHER STUDENTS THINK I SHOULD WORK ON?
Other students think that I need to work on making my summary shorter and possibly my reflection longer. Also, my piers think that I should work on adding more detail so basically choosing an article that is more appealing to me.

WHAT WILL I WORK ON IMPROVING?
I am going to work on choosing articles that I really find interesting and adding my opinion. I am also going to try to add more detail.

Anonymous said...

Have you completed EVERY assignment?
No.

What do you think your strengths are in this blog work?
I understand the directions very well and I don’t write in too much detail in the summaries so the reader knows the main idea but doesn’t have to hear every single detail.

What do you think you should work on in this blog work?
I think I should work on writing the assignment earlier so I don’t feel rushed and I can go back and edit it if I need to.

What do other students say you do well?
Other students say that I choose good articles to read.

What do other students say you should do to improve your work?
Other students say I should improve my grammar and write more in the summary.

What will you work on improving in your next blog assignments?
I will work on writing my assignment earlier and checking over my grammar.

1)I think my strengths are handing it in on time, putting thought into it, going on with important things.

2)I think my weaknesses is punctuation, explain more, and reflect more.

3)Other kids thought I had a lot to say on some of my articles and was organized

4)kids thought I should improve on Punctuation, type about feelings, more about what the article was about, explain more, and more reflection

5) I will try to improve on everything other people say I should improve on

I will admit that I did not complete every assignment, but I can say that I am doing not my best. Also I can do a little better. I think my weakness is that I am slacking on my work. My strength is when I am listening to music like I am right now writing this blog. I think I never saw any comments on my work (I will have to check again). I will next time write it in my planner so I can remember it at home.

I thought it was fun being able to look over my past work and see how I improved.

WHAT ARE MY STRENGTHS
I think that my strengths working with the blog are that I tend to do work that gives a lot of information. I also think that when I write I write in a very viewer friendly way.

WHAT SHOULD I IMPROVE ON
I think sometimes my posts lack in length. I try to get a lot of information into a small paragraph. I should elaborate some more and not just cram information into a post. I need to make it more fluid.

WHAT OTHER STUDENTS SAY I DO WELL
When I read what my class mates wrote about my posts I found out that they say that I choose good topics that appeal to kids our age.

WHAT OTHER STUDENTS SAY I SHOULD IMPROVE
My piers say that I should not try to put a lot of information in a small post. They also told me that I should work on my grammar. They told me I should relate to the article a little bit more also.

WHAT WILL I DO NEXT BLOG ASSIGNMENT
I will try to elaborate some more and try to relate my own life and opinions to the article better.

I agree with hello there!, it is amazing to see how much I have grown as a scientific writer. It was great to see all I have wrote about over the months. Heres what I have concluded after I have looked over all the articles:

Week in and week out I think I choose some of the coolest articles in class. Also, I think I explain the articles I choose in great detail.

I think I should work on the grammer and spelling of my articles. I was cracking up when I saw how many mistakes were in my articles. Its helarious! here are my favorites:
ywu
teh
becusea
As you can see I rush.

The one comment I got said I choose very cool articles. Also, they said I was good at putting the article into good context.

Also, ironiclly, they thought that I rushed and saw a lot of improper spelling and grammer. Funny, great minds think a like.

What I DEFINITLY need to improve on is how I chech over my work. I mean, how did I miss becuase!? I still can't belive I missed that. WOW!!

Anonymous said...

What should I improve on?
I think I should improve on that I tend to try to find the easiest way to do something. For example, I always will try to find the shortest article to read, I try to pick the shortest pieces of writing on the blog to comment about, I honestly rush through working sometimes, ect. I would like to try to focus on the quality of my writing more than how to make it easier for me to do the work and to save time. I also think I need to look over my work before I post it because I notice I make a lot of spelling errors and sentences that don’t make sense. I would like to be more consistent in my work. Sometimes I do really good work and put a lot of thought into it and other times I don’t try very hard and I would like it to be that every time is consistently good.

What do other people think my strengths are?
Many people say that I pick very interesting articles that they can understand the articles that I choose even though sometimes they can be a little complicating. One person said that I make good connections in my article. Some people also said that they could tell that I put a lot of time and effort into my writing which I think was true.

What are some things people say I can improve on?
Some people said that I should tell more about the actual article so they can understand my comments on the article a little better. I thought that was a very helpful comment and was surprised that so many people gave me it as a comment. Other comments said that I should check my writing before I post it for any spelling errors or sentences that don’t make sense which I completely agree with because spelling and grammar are my weakest points.

What will I do on my next blog?
I will read over my blog at least twice to make sure there are no spelling or grammar errors. I will continue to pick interesting article that are a little harder than the last article I chose so I can push myself to get better. I will also try to pay more attention on what other people say about my writing and improve it by using the constructive criticism that other people give me.

My strengths:
I think that my strengths are that I always get the assignment in on time, I usually answer all of the questions that were asked, I don’t have a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes, and for the weekly science article reports I try to find an article that I am really interested in.

Other’s opinions:
Usually when people comment on my reflection they say that they liked the article I chose (for the weekly science article reports) which is pretty much what everyone says in their comments. When they are commenting on what they think I should work on they usually say that I need to add more detail or something like that. When people are writing comments they all pretty much say the same thing for every person and just switch around the words, but I think that the comments shouldn’t just be written because we have to and because they are part of our assignment, but because we want to give people constructive criticism and help them out for their future blogs. If everyone just says the same thing that it won’t help anyone to improve, so the next time I comment on someone’s work I will make sure that I really try to dig deep for suggestions that are meaningful and more specific instead of saying the same thing that everyone else says. It will probably take a lot more time and effort, but if people don’t really write good comments than it’s no going to help anyone and no one will get better. If it were me I would want people to give me suggestions for specific ways that I can improve rather than saying to check your spelling or something that’s obvious. Also instead of just saying “add more detail,” If that person posted a link you could see what website they were looking at and read it yourself so you could see how they could have added more detail. If they didn’t post a link than obviously you can’t do that. If you tell someone to check their spelling, than you should point out to them exactly where they made the mistake. Basically I’m saying that if everyone expanded on their comments than it would benefit the entire class and everyone would improve (I hope.)

Improvements:
In this blog I worked on making sure I answered every question fully and completely, and adding more detail and in future blog assignments I will make sure I do it as well. Also, when I am picking an article for the weekly science article reports I make sure I pick an article that I am interested in but sometimes it’s a little bit too easy for me. Next time I should make sure that I pick an article that I will enjoy, but at the same time make sure that it is at my level. Usually when I post a blog I wait until Thursday to do it, but this week I stepped it up and did my report on Wednesday! For the next assignment I am definitely going to make sure I do the assignment early if I have time. I am also going to be positive that I work really hard on my comments to make sure I am helping out the people that I comment on.

In my blog work, I have strengths and weaknesses. Some of my strengths are that I get right to what I have to say, I ask a lot of questions, I have enthusiasm for my articles that I pick, and I explain important things thoroughly. Students say that my strengths are that I pick good topics for articles, and I go further (thinking wise). Even though I have strengths, I also have weaknesses. Some of my weaknesses are that I don’t write much (in my weekly science articles), I sometimes have spelling errors, and I am repetitive.
I could improve by adding more information about the article, and checking my work over very carefully (for spelling errors and to see if I am repeating myself). Students say I could improve by saying more about the article, and write about topics that people don’t already know about.
For my next blog assignment, I will work on writing more, reading over my work more carefully, and write about topics that people don’t already know about.

I think that some my blogs are long, some are short, and some are in-between in length. Looking at all my posts I think that majority of them were short and stubby but okay.
I think my strengths are putting what the article is about most of the time in a lot. I think I could work on making my posts longer. I think this because I spend time explaining what the article is and a little about what I think.
People think that I should more opinion in my blogs. I also think I need to also because like I said I spend too much time explaining what the article is about.
Other people think I do a good job explaining the article.
I will definitely try to make my posts longer and put more opinion.

Reflection

My strengths in my opinion on the blog so far is that I keep my story sweet short and give the reader the info without some off the junk. What I should work on is making my writing a little bit more sophisticated my longer more impressive words. What they say that I do is giving them an article with an opinion from both sides of the story and by keeping it short. They say that I should make the articles flow together from sentence to sentence. I will take the opinions I have received plus my own critiquing and put it into my work.

P.S. While I have been reading the comments I noticed that the higher up your article is the more comments you will receive. I think the class including me is getting a little bit lazier and should start commenting on lower articles.

MY STRENGHS
Personally I dont think I have any strengths in the blog.

Strengths- After looking over all my blog work assignments that I have done in the past I would have to say that my strengths are finding articles to right about, adding detail into all my work and the effort that I put into each assignment.

What I think that I should improve on in the future and what others think I should improve on: People say that I should improve on my grammar, and that I should be much more specific about what my topic is about because I tend to switch what I'm talking about and get off topic in the articles. I also think that I should improve on posting my blogs earlier in the week so there not always last minute. I want to also improve on making the articles I choose more entertaining so the reader never gets bored reading what I have to say.

What others think I do well in: When I went over what my classmates said about my work, was that I sometimes pick interesting articles that I right about and some are very detailed.

What I will work on: I will work on posting my blogs earlier, making sure anyone who reads my articles don't get bored reading (or reviewing) my articles. And make it clear about what my article is about, digging deeper into the article and get just the main important stuff.

Looking over blog work

My strengths in blog work are finding interesting articles.

What I need to work on in my blog work is do not waste till last minute, like now. I also keep forgetting to post comments.

What people say about my blog work is that people think it’s interesting.

What people say about my blog work is that I should have more description.

Anonymous said...

i have missed one assignment because i forgot that i was period 5,i do admit to forgeting one or two.
i thought i was in period 6. my strength is finding a(n) article about something you would have never thought about ever. i was able to find the weridest and coolest stuff i could.
i think i shoud work on posting my comment more earlyer in the week insted of posting thursday night, i always say "i'll do it later" but i never do. i need to look for articles more science related and i also have to work on proof reading befor publishing.
i actully never looked at the comment other people left me before this but i think that the comments were NICE, HELPFUL, and just polite.
for the blog work in the future i will improve on being more perpared with a idea of what i am going to post to the blog, i will post my blog work earlyer in the week, i will spend more time looking over the article, i will spend more time looking over my blog work, i will try to write more and put more of a effort into the blog assignments

Anonymous said...

I think I have completed every assignment but I am not sure.

I think my strengths in the blog is strongly giving my opinion wether it's a weekly science article or it's a comment on some one else’s work. Which is good so you can obviously tell which side I stand on?

I think I should work on making my posts longer and giving more info on what I am talking about so you can understand what I’m talking about.

What other students say I do well is describing and giving detail on what I’m talking about which is good so you can absorb what I have absorbed.

Other students say I should make my posts longer so I can give information on the whole thing, not just the main idea.

What I will work on in future blog posts is making my posts longer. Which I am obviously not doing in this post. But only time will tell.

Anonymous said...

What my strengths are: My strengths on the blog are being able to do and fully complete work on time and being able to take what people tell me and make it better in my own work.

In the blog I need to: I need to work on my spelling. Even though I do my work on a word document it still has mistakes in it. Also I need to work on short summaries.

Other students say I do this well: I am able to summarize article very short and sweet. I normally have current topics on what’s going on in the world.

Other students say I should work on: Checking my reflection for mistakes. They also say I should make my summaries a little shorter.

I will improve in the following assignments by: I will start reading over my blog looking for any eras spell check doesn’t recognize and I will talk a little less about the article it self.

Have you completed EVERY assignment?

I have done every assignment except for the extra credit assignment wich was not mandatory.

What do you think you should work on in this blog work?

I think I could be more descriptive but not make my post longer. I need to write longer sentences so I can include more important information so my sentences would be rich full of information.

What do other students say you do well?

I only got 2 comments so I unfortunately don’t have much feedback to work off of. The comments I got said that I found an interesting article.

What will you work on improving in your next blog assignments?

I will be more descriptive but not make my post longer. I will try to write longer sentences so I can include more important information so my sentences would be rich full of information.

What do other students say you should do to improve your work?

The only thing I was told to improve on was to add the source but the person who commented didn’t check the post right after where I put the source.

What do you think your strengths are in this blog work?

I think I write a summary that is long enough to explain the article and that I write pretty descriptive.

Looking over at my blog reports I found that it was really weird seeing how I improved.

My strengths:
I stay on topic with my reports but I still manage to keep it interesting and informational.

Thing I need to work on:
I need to work on haveing longer posts. I kind of just try to rush through it.

Students say I'm good at:
Making a topic that is very boring, interesting. They say I'm detailed.

Students say I need to improve on:
Writing more and putting more detail into my work. Which I mostly agree with.

I remember the first blog assignment I completed after we viewed a segment of Mythbusters. I typed the report with all of my effort and perseverance thinking that the blog would only be a one-time thing. To the extent of my knowledge about the blog grading, I thought it would be an important grade almost like a quiz or test. The following week to my surprise, we had a second blog assignment. From that point I knew that blogging would be done on a weekly basis. I tried hard to make the second one as good as the first. Week after week, before each blog I would set a standard and try to maintain the same level of work I put into the previous blog. And every week I would look back and see how my work progressed, pushing myself for the next blog to have the same writing quality. I admit it’s been quite hard writing every week but after each blog it becomes less of a pain. The main thing I’ve been trying to stick to is to prevent myself from flying through the reflections and not taking my time. I have to say I haven’t rushed a reflection yet. Anywhere I go I try my hardest to juggle all my work to hand it in on time. Whenever I take off a little school to see my Dad I bring a laptop and do whatever it takes to get my work to school. This is so because I take pride and treasure each piece of work I hand in.
Through this past year I’ve had one or two late blogs. The thing is I would rather hand in my true work a day late than a report filled with nothing but fluff. I like having my reports with quality and quantity instead of one or the other.
Although I like my standard of writing I regret choosing some of the articles I based my reflections on. Most of them were interesting but others were either just a little easy or boring. Even the lamest of articles I try desperately to transform into the most astonishing thing I’ve ever read. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve only given in a few boring blog, the rest are all very interesting to me.
I think people don’t comment on me for two reasons. Reason number one is my entire fault; I have a knack for posting my article late at night not even giving anyone a chance to write about my reflection. Even this blog is probably way at the bottom hiding under all the massive mounds of reflections. Not that I write it at night, it’s just that I like my writing to be on the computer for awhile so I can constantly go back and review what I wrote. The other reason is that most of my blogs are way too long. I don’t blame them, the only comment I ever got was saying how scientific and intellectual it was, and that I should shorten it drastically.
When I comment on others it’s difficult trying to get your point across to the writer without sounding too harsh. I feel as though the person who wrote it put a lot of time and effort into writing and who am I to put them down. I usually try giving balanced useful comments that have an equal amount of criticism and praise.
In the next blog I should work on posting my work days earlier so I can start getting a few comments here and there. And YES I have given in every assignment this year.

WHAT I’VE DONE SO FAR
BY MILKY MILK

I thought it was cool and useful to look over all of our old work, it was quite funny.
HAVE I COMPLITED ALL MY ASSIGNMENTS?
No, I haven’t done every assignment. I’ve checked every assignment and I only missed three of them. They are: Using Google Docs Reflection (for got to do, sorry), Adopt an Element Project (computer wouldn’t allow me on the web-site), and Cool Useful, Teachful Cell Links (computer taken apart and wouldn’t turn on for a few days).
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR STRENGHTS ARE IN THIS BLOG-WORK?
I think my strengths in my blog-work is my writing, and they way I express my feelings, thoughts and questions. I also think that my recent articles are more detailed than my old ones. I think that by me using bigger words really help me with my writing, and help me express my feelings in my reports. And so that my readers can understand it better.
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU SHOULD WORK ON IN THIS BLOG-WORK?
I think that I should work on adding more detail because everyone who wrote comments on my not-so-recent work practically said ‘can you please put that in more detail.’ So, I’ve been trying harder and harder to do that, and I think I finally succeeded (don’t worry I won’t get a big-head). I also think organizing my work using paragraphs will help me organize my thoughts better; that’s what I’m trying to do here (thanks ‘purplemonkey’; I appreciate your feedback). I also think that I SHOULD’NT paste the article unless it is super-duper short.
WHAT DO OTHER STUDENTS SAY YOU DO WELL?
The other students have been very considerate, kind, and generous with their comments on my work. Here is one comment that I really liked: “hello there!” said: The article that you chose was really, really interesting, and complex, for congrats for choosing such a tough one. But, I think you did an AMAZING job of explaining it, and I understood most of it. There are no improvements to be made, in my opinion after reading this. Great job, this was extremely well written, and a hard article to tackle, but you did it very well.’ I personally LOVE this comment. It made me feel like screaming my head off, like someone who just 1,000,000,000 dollars (but I’m too tired to do it). Other students said that I choose really good articles to comment about, and that I explained it really well.
WHAT DO OTHER STUDENTS SAY YOU SHOULD DO TO IMPROVE YOUR WORK?
My classmates say I should put more detail in more work and that I should put my comments into paragraphs, so they can better understand what I have to say. Sometimes my classmates say that I should make my work shorter so it is NOT as long. I think they said that because when something is too long that it isn’t fun to read; that you just want to stop and be like ‘why is this thing SO long? Jeez!’ I get it, I feel the same way.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON IMPROVING IN YOUR NEXT BLOG ASSIGNMENT?
I will definitely work on making my work shorter, make paragraphs, won’t paste my article, and add more detail. I just wanted to say to everyone that commented on my work that I appreciate what you’ve said and I will work on your suggestions.

After I have look over all of my old work, I have found out that I have not posted to every assignment. (This is something that I will have to work on.)

WHAT ARE MY STRENGTHS IN BLOG WORK?
I have found out that some of my strengths are picking an article to reflect upon. When I really take the time to find a well put together article, it shows in my posts. People have said in their comments that I choose very interesting articles, that make then want to learn more. Also, when I choose more advanced articles, I produce better work. (As in more questions and better information.)
I also believe that one of my strengths is commenting on other peoples work. I think that I give supportive consent, and that I really emphasize when somebody makes a great post.
I also think that one of my strengths is sorting out the information that I come around in my article.

WHAT SHOULD I IMPROVE UPON IN MY BLOG WORK?
I have found out that I need to improve; a lot. One thing that I have been told that I could improve upon is my vocabulary level. I could use more difficult words, making my post seem more challenging. Another aspect to my blogging that I could tweak is putting in more information about my article. Also, I need to put more of my opinion into my reflections.
I have come to learn that I really need to refine my time management skills. I have noticed that if post earlier, my work is richer. (In this context meaning more through or full.) I have come to learn that if I post later in the week, (last minute posts,) my reflections are weak and not very vast. I believe that if I do fix this problem, I will become a better reader, and a better scientist.

WHAT DO OTHER STUDENTS SAY I DO WELL (IN BLOG WORK.)
I have been told that I pick interesting articles to reflect upon, and that is displayed in my work. I have also been told that I have fine grammar.

WHAT DO OTHER STUDENTS SAY THAT YOU SHOULD DO TO IMPROVE YOUR WORK?
The other students say that one way that I could drastically improve my work is by really stating why I chose the topic. I suppose that I do not factor that enough into my reflections, so sometimes they come out dull. Another thing that the other students said I could improve upon is stating my opinion. I do agree to this allegation, because I myself noticed that I do not make my opinions present in my posts.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON IMPROVING IN NEXT BLOG ASSIGNMENT?
I am going to work on just about everything. I believe that there is always room from improvement, even in something that you excel in. I will put more effort into my posts my writing more about the information that I have encountered. Also, I will defiantly incorporate my new time management skills into my future posts. In addition, I make a greater attempt to ask more complex questions and to add more of my opinion into the reflection.

After doing this blog work, I have found that I really benefited from the constructive criticism that my peers have provided. If I had not done this assignment, I would have stuck to my old ways, and that could have possibly affected my grade.

Looking at old work was kind of boring and long trying to find it but gave me some good stuff for this comment.

WHAT ARE MY STRENGHTS IN BLOG-WORK?
As i looked at my blog work i noticed how they tend to be short sometimes. If i were to spend 15 minutes on my blog work then it would probably be a lot more detailed.

WHAT SHOULD I IMPROVE UPON IN MY BLOG WORK?
I need to write more in my work. My article needs a little more work than my reflections. I should probably look for cooler articles but my articles are still cool...to me...

WHAT DO STUDENTS SAY ABOUT MY BLOG-WORK? THEY SAY THE ACATIONAL GOOD JOBS AND NICE COMMENTS AND I LIKE THAT. AND SOME TIMES THEY LEAVE NICE BIG COMMENTS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY THAT I DID MY WORK FOR MORE THAN JUST WORK BUT FOR OTHERS TO ENJOY.

WHAT DO OTHER STUDENTS SAY I DO WELL IN (BLOG WORK)?
They say how my articles are fun to visit. One person said how cool it was and even though it was a small article the person admired the topic.

WHAT WILL YOU IMPROVE IN YOUR NEXT BLOG ASSIENMENT?
I will make it a paragraph longer and a little more detailed. I will also try toad any game links to the blog work I do addition to the article.

What do you think your strengths are in this blog work?

In blog work, I have very well noticed that one of my main and great strengths is spelling and correct grammar. I have very strongly noticed this by looking at my work and comparing it with other peoples' work, because mine has more correct spelling and grammar than most of the people here.

What do you think you should work on in this blog work?

I think I need to improve on working harder, because sometimes if I wait until the last minute, I only work for like 5 minutes on the blog and then it doesn't end up well. So I think I need not to wait until the last minute I have to do the blog work. Also, I sometimes do better on the blog work when I find a more interesting article... To me, that is.

What do other students say you do well?

Lots of people say I do very well with having lots of details and making sure my article can be understood by other people if it's about a subject I'm very into and other people wouldn't know near as much about (like trains), and they say I'm very good with spelling, grammar and punctuation.

What do other students say you should do to improve your work?

Other students sometimes say the occasional: "You could've put more work into it and made it a bigger comment and details." This happens to me usually when I pick an article and comment at the last minute because I'm such in a rush.

What will you work on improving in your next blog assignments?

By improving, I will stop waiting until the last minute to do my work so that I can do better on my comment and get a better grade. Also, I will spend more time on trying to find an article that has a subject I'm really into; it makes me want to read more about it and type a bigger comment about it. (Such as trains & Railroads.)
